Anaesthetic Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic Main Theatres and Day Surgery department at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-energy setting, collaborating with a skilled team of theatre practitioners, surgeons, nurses, and anaesthetists. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of specialties, including urology, general surgery, upper GI, breast, gynaecology, paediatrics, ENT, oral, plastic, ophthalmology, trauma & orthopaedics, CEPOD, and bariatric surgeries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care under supervision, including implementing basic and complex healthcare practices.
- Effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, reporting incidents and contributing to team discussions.
- Utilise resources effectively, delegate tasks to junior staff, support peers through preceptorship, and participate in policy development and quality audits.
- Maintain high standards of clinical care, keep patients informed, identify risks, and update clinical skills for ongoing professional development.
- Identify personal development needs, participate in training, and adhere to health and safety policies.
