About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Primary Care Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems.

Working within our dynamic and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, low-intensity psychological therapies to individuals, carers, families, and groups, in line with best practice and trust care pathways.
  • Assess and support people with common mental health problems, using evidence-based interventions and working collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and goals of each client.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and trust guidelines.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or equivalent, with experience of working in primary care services and a strong understanding of evidence-based psychological therapies.
