​At QTS Data Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Project Manager to lead and manage the design, preconstruction, and construction activities on our projects. This role will be responsible for interacting with various stakeholders, including Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects across campuses and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each.
  • Create and communicate updates on development program and project status on a monthly basis for executive-level reviews.
  • Work with QTS stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program for sites, including a complete campus design solution and capital budget.
  • Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each assigned site project.
  • Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for communicating program updates to executive-level and Excel for creating and maintaining site program and individual project budgets.
