About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centred care and ensuring the safe supply of medicines.

  • Patient Care: You will work closely with patients to provide clear advice and care, tailoring conversations to meet their unique needs and concerns.
  • Dispensary Operations: You will be responsible for delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  • Professional Development: We offer opportunities for professional growth and development, including support towards achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services, which can lead to registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in pharmacy services, such as an NVQ Level 2 equivalent or completion of the first year of an Mpharm course at university.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to expand your skills and knowledge in pharmacy services.
