Clinical Lead Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Pharmacist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Clinical Lead Pharmacist, you will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services across the trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy and experience of working in a hospital environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes and ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services across the trust
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to clinical pharmacy services
- Provide education and support to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of medicines
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England, providing a full range of general hospital services and specialist care to around 600,000 people living in west Kent and East Sussex. We offer a competitive salary of £75,000-£85,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
