Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital, a purpose-built hospital since 1968, is seeking an exceptional Pharmaceutical Oncology Expert to join their Pharmacy team. This exciting opportunity involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services within the hospital's oncology department, ensuring compliance with government and NICE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients, maintaining pharmaceutical care plans and verifying treatment prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure safe prescribing practices, developing protocols and guidelines for SACT treatments.
  • Coordinate the administration and delivery of SACT treatments, maintaining effective communication with the Pharmacy dispensary.
  • Educate and train colleagues on oncology competencies, fostering knowledge sharing across Nuffield Health sites.

Requirements:

  • UK Registered Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in oncology and haemato-oncology.
  • Experience in supervising and training staff, with excellent communication and people skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
