About the Role

As an HVAC Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting our company's off-the-shelf and bespoke HVAC product offerings to end-users, consultants, and contractors in the construction, building services, and HVAC industries.

Your primary focus will be on generating sales leads and managing the process from initial enquiry to order placement, including final negotiation. You will work closely with our estimating, design, and engineering teams to select and cost products using our bespoke software package, which provides extensive training support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote our comprehensive HVAC solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Manage sales leads, generate new business opportunities, and maintain existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, adhering to established targets.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial HVAC sales, preferably with a strong track record in solutions sales or application-type sales.
  • An excellent understanding of the HVAC sector, with a proven ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email, as well as familiarity with industry-specific software packages.
  • The ability to negotiate effectively and drive sales growth in excess of £1 million at strong profit margins.
