Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Business Support. As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, providing technical assistance and accurate quotations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients using a consultative sales approach to understand and maximize their potential.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation on internal systems.
  • Professionally handle complaints and queries to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  • Work closely with external sales representatives to ensure client requirements are fully understood and the best value solution is engineered.
  • Support the ongoing review and development of the pricing process, setting margins and discounts collaboratively with the external sales representatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an order processing/quotations role within a manufacturing or engineering business.
  • Experience and confidence working with IT systems, including CRM databases, to ensure timely and accurate information entry.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong abilities to multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in and knowledge of reading technical drawings.
  • A quick mind to manage complaints and problem solve, learning the product range to provide technical solutions.
