About The Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Assistant Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Healthcare Group. You will be responsible for leading a team of care assistants and delivering exceptional care to our residents.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in care within the UK (essential)
  • Leading a care team for at least 1 year
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable), with a view to completing Level 3 following probation (essential)
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
  • A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
  • Prioritising a passion for high standards of care
  • SUPPORTING AND DEVELOPING A TEAM OF STAFF
Working Hours and Salary:

Week B - 4 days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Shift times are from 7am to 19:00. Up to £28,000 per annum, plus benefits worth up to £5,000, including enhanced pay rates for overtime and bank holidays, free meals, DBS, parking, uniform laundered on site, and access to company-provided courses and training.

  • Prioritising workload of the care team, consulting the nurse in charge when necessary
  • Participating in meetings, including staff meetings, case reviews, clinical reviews, as prescribed by the Nurse in charge
  • Observing resident progress against planned goals and reporting changes in the residents' condition or care needs to a registered nurse
  • Supporting daily living activities, including personal care, mealtimes, and social activities
  • Helping residents maintain independence
  • Respecting residents' right to choice, privacy, and dignity at all times
