Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Day Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualised care and support to residents during the day time, promoting each person's privacy, dignity, and independence.

The Role: You will supervise and lead shifts, working closely with team members to create a happy and caring atmosphere. Whether you're assisting with daily activities, such as bathing or dressing, or conducting direct observations on care assistants, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent care and support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • To lead and motivate staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • To maintain accurate records of resident care and administration, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • To communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, using clear and respectful language.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
  • An L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
