As a Senior Contract Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Street Lighting division by overseeing contracts and implementing street lighting and electrical works. You will be responsible for developing the street lighting business throughout the contracts.

The duties of the Senior Contract Manager role will include:

Overseeing the planning and programming of works, including pre-contract site visits to determine project requirements

Managing and overseeing the relevant street lighting contracts team, motivating them, dealing with any performance issues and promoting the continual professional development of all key members of staff

Ensuring that all site works are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner while ensuring regular liaison with clients, public, authorities, sub-contractors, and suppliers. Including ensuring that the correct licenses/permits are in place and valid for the works being undertaken

Reviewing and updating Health and Safety Plans, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Environmental Plans, ensuring that all new sites or new work orders have the appropriate documentation in place

Ensuring portfolios and other documentation are maintained to the required industry standard and to retain accreditation to the relevant industrial bodies

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for candidates with previous experience within a similar role. It is essential that you have worked in the street lighting industry within a commercially focused role. To be considered for this role, you must have strong electrical knowledge, experience in programming, H&S site-specific risk assessments, and good IT skills. In addition, you will be an excellent communicator with high business ethics, and you will have the following qualifications/certifications:

210 G39 certification

HEA/HERS Qualified Supervisor

HEA/HERS Authorised Officer

CSCS

SMSTS

Full UK driving license
