Senior Financial Analyst

The NHS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in managing income and contracts. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis and supporting the delivery of appropriate financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and analyse complex financial data to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain detailed reconciliations in relation to patient care activities income transactions.
- Prepare and present monthly divisional performance reports and commentary to senior management.
- Analyse financial information, investigate income variances, and suggest corrective action where necessary.
This is a key position that requires excellent financial and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Payments by Results (PbR) and experience in dealing with complex financial issues.
Requirements- Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Member level or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Excellent knowledge of PbR and experience in managing complex financial data.
This role offers a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, exclusive of allowances, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
