Job Summary:
The Clinical Site Director role is a key position within the UHBW Trust, responsible for managing the patient's journey through the hospital. This proactive position requires the ability to support other clinical teams within the hospital on a 24-hour basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Emergency Department (ED) Coordinator to optimize bed utilization and emergency admissions within current targets.
- Achieve corporate priorities and key performance targets in Emergency and Elective care.
- Produce accurate, timely, and high-quality reports for the Trust and wider partner organizations.
- Manage the overall daily and out-of-hours coordination of bed management across the adult sites.
Requirements:
- Clear understanding of risk assessments and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including long days, nights, and weekends on a rotational roster.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Working Arrangements:
This role involves cross-site working between Weston General Hospital and the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
