About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for new build and refurbishment projects in commercial, education, industrial, and leisure sectors.
  • Manage pre-qualification, quality, and pre-bid submissions to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with the bid team to develop compelling tender submissions and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis and identify potential risks associated with construction projects, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation of all estimating activities and identify opportunities to add value throughout the project process.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Experience of pricing projects, including single and two-stage tenders and negotiated opportunities.
  • Proficient in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain estimates to internal and external stakeholders.
