HR Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at MaxAd Fixed Fee Recruitment. As an HR Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day HR administration and recruitment needs for our business units, including managing offers, contracts, onboarding, exit, and in-life changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HR system.
- Conduct right to work, pre-employment, background, and security checks.
- Place job adverts on job boards and with agency partners and undertake initial shortlisting.
- Agree role requirements and selection process with hiring managers, organize interviews, and notify unsuccessful applicants.
- Assist with the smooth induction of new starters, including the completion of new starter forms.
- Communicate details of new starters to colleagues to ensure facilities and IT equipment are available for day one.
- Explain and enroll new starters in end-of-probation company benefits, including PMI, Life Assurance, and Pension Scheme.
- Carry out end-of-month check-ins with new starters and managers.
- Manage monthly payroll reporting, ensuring the submission is accurate and on time.
- Set up and administer employee benefits, including carrying out maternity interviews and maintaining contact with colleagues while off on maternity leave.
- Confident, approachable, and passionate about providing a great HR service.
- Previous admin experience in either a HR, payroll, or recruitment admin role in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize own workload.
- Used to meeting deadlines and getting back to people in a timely manner.
- Confident communicator.
- Has a keen eye for detail and takes responsibility for ensuring information shared is accurate and tells a clear story.
- Confident user of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Confident user of HR system, ideally Cezanne.
- Flexible, team player.
- Driving license and vehicle ideal.
- Able to visit other company sites across the UK once or twice monthly.
