About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team in Anaesthesia & Perioperative Medicine. As a key member of our education faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver clinical teaching programs for year 4 UCL undergraduates, including tutorials, simulation, and clinical skills training.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our comprehensive multi-professional education and training program.
  • Collaborate with the undergraduate teaching lead, departmental education faculty, and UCL medical school to ensure seamless integration of educational activities.
  • Participate in quality assurance and development of the teaching program in response to student feedback.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GMC registration and strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • MBBS (or equivalent) degree and completion of a UK Foundation Training Programme.
  • Eligibility to enter core training (post Foundation year 2) and evidence of an appreciation of adult learning principles.
  • Experience of teaching clinical students or junior doctors and excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
