Job Summary

This role involves designing and delivering comprehensive clinical education and training programs that meet the evolving needs of our paramedic workforce. As a Clinical Education and Training Specialist, you will work closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to develop and implement cutting-edge educational content, leveraging digital learning tools and best practices in adult education.

Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and interactive training materials, incorporating real-world scenarios and evidence-based practice guidelines. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop and facilitate workshops, webinars, and other training events that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development among paramedics.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including paramedics, educators, and operational teams. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment will be invaluable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Clinical Education and Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive clinical education and training programs for paramedics, incorporating evidence-based practice guidelines and real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams to develop and implement educational content, leveraging digital learning tools and best practices in adult education.
  • Create Engaging Training Materials: Develop interactive training materials, incorporating multimedia elements, case studies, and group discussions to promote learner engagement and retention.
  • Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Assess program effectiveness through surveys, feedback sessions, and evaluation metrics, informing improvements to future training initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paramedic or in a related clinical role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Education and Qualifications: A relevant degree (e.g., Paramedicine, Nursing, Health Sciences) and certifications in adult education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including paramedics, educators, and operational teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital learning platforms, adult education software, and Microsoft Office suite.

We offer a competitive salary of £53,000 - £61,200 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth within our dynamic organization.
