Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Blackburn Road in Lancashire. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with service users, based on trust and respect
  • Support service users to undertake their rehabilitation programme, including activities of daily living and personal care
  • Establish effective communication methods with service users, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the clinical team
  • Accurately record and report work activities

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in providing person-centred care and support
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience working in the care sector or mental health would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
