About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Whalley Road, Oswald House, and Blackburn Road services in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful relationships with our residents, fostering open and two-way communication.
  • Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Establish effective communication methods with residents, addressing any barriers as needed.
  • Assist with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to the clinical team, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Accurately record and report work activities, maintaining high standards of documentation.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centered care, prioritizing residents' needs and well-being.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, colleagues, and clinical teams.
  • Experience in the care sector or mental health is advantageous, but not essential; a willingness to learn and grow is key.
  • Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding.
