SEN Teacher Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a Year 8 student with autism in our Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in central Oldham. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in Special Educational Needs or those passionate about making a positive impact on a young person's learning journey.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team working closely with the SEN team and teaching staff to provide tailored support, helping the student to engage positively with school life, build social and academic confidence, and manage transitions smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the SEN team to develop and implement individualized support plans for the student
- Provide guidance and encouragement to promote independent progress in a caring and structured environment
- Adapt learning materials to meet the student's needs and abilities
The position offers flexible or full-time work options with a competitive daily rate of £87-£92 per day. Please apply with an up-to-date CV.
