Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Sales and Events to lead our Sales and Events department at Graduate Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Sales and Events department to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase occupancy, average rates, and banquet sales.
- Manage key accounts and relationships with local customers, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and events team.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns.
- Manage the sales and events budget, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel staff, vendors, and partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales and events, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Experience with CRM software, including Delphi, and other sales and marketing tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
