About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Events to lead our Sales and Events department at Graduate Hotels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth, managing key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Sales and Events department to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Manage key accounts and relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's services and amenities.
- Ensure that all sales and events activities are aligned with the hotel's commercial strategy and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective processes to improve sales and revenue performance.
- Manage and motivate a team of sales and events professionals to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales and events, preferably at Director level.
- Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth in a hotel environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of revenue management and account profitability, and RFP processes.
- Proficient in using CRM, MS office software applications, including M.S. Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
