Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

Amazon is seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team in one of our highly automated Fulfilment Centres (FC).
Purpose of the JobThe Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians, maintaining a focus on safety, and delivering a high level of equipment availability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the team by identifying barriers to safe, standard, and efficient work practices, and work with the team and wider network to develop solutions.
- Collaborate with the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager and site Safety department to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programmes.
- Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability to internal customers.
- Manage and drive the training programme for the team to ensure sufficient technical coverage.
- Manage local projects or support EU level projects as assigned by the manager.
- Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.
Degree or NVQ Level 4 in a relevant engineering discipline or served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship. Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working with PLC based control systems and project management experience.
