Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team in one of our highly automated Fulfilment Centres. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of equipment availability and ensuring the safety of our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and support a team of engineering technicians, focusing on safety and standardization.
  2. Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement and audit safety and statutory compliance programmes.
  3. Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability.
  4. Manage and drive the training programme for the team to ensure sufficient technical coverage.
  5. Support local and EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
  6. Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.

Requirements

  1. Degree or NVQ Level 4 in a relevant engineering discipline or served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship.
  2. Experience of automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
  3. Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) in English.
  4. Excellent computer skills (MS Office, CAD).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience working with PLC-based control systems.
  2. Project Management experience.
