We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Your Mortgage Recruiter Ltd, a leading UK specialist recruiter in Mortgage Advice, Support, Underwriting, Compliance, and BDM roles. As a Commercial Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of mortgage brokers in providing exceptional client service and ensuring the smooth progression of mortgage applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keying mortgage applications into various lenders' systems, including commercial mortgage, bridging finance, and development finance cases.
- Providing administrative support to our brokers, including gathering original documents from clients, uploading documents onto the system, and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.
- Managing client service experiences through to completion, including communicating with clients, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth progress of applications.
- Detailing all conversations and actions taken in our CRM system and becoming familiar with our mortgage sourcing system.
- Ensuring all work meets the required FCA compliance standards and assisting the team with any other duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements:
- Mortgage administration experience, preferably in the independent market, with knowledge of multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals/platforms.
- Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with diverse client types.
- Technical ability and confidence with mortgage and protection terminology.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, time management, and prioritization skills to complete cases efficiently.
- Desire to progress in a professional and growing business.
What We Offer:
- A competitive basic salary of up to £32,000, negotiable based on skill-set and role experience.
- A pension scheme and benefits, including a bonus scheme based on the business' performance, with quarterly bonuses equating to an additional 10% to 20% of annual salary.
- A company Christmas bonus worth £2,000 each year.
- A possible annual OTE of up to £40,400 within this role.
