About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Your Mortgage Recruiter Ltd. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Directly Authorised, Independent Mortgage Brokerage in the City of London office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mortgage Application Processing: Keying mortgage applications into various lenders' systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to our Brokers, including managing client service experiences, communicating with clients, lenders, and solicitors, and detailing conversations and actions taken in our CRM System.
  • Document Management: Gathering original documents from clients, uploading documents onto the system within compliance timescales, and scanning file documents to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Client Communication: Contacting existing clients to review their circumstances and products, and assisting the team with other duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements
  • Mortgage Administration Experience: Proven experience in mortgage administration within the independent market, with knowledge of multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals/platforms.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with diverse client backgrounds.
  • Technical Ability: Demonstrated technical ability and confidence with mortgage terminology.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Ability to demonstrate initiative, time manage, and prioritize cases through to completion.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of up to circa £33,000, negotiable based on skill-set/role experience. A pension scheme, plus benefits including a bonus scheme based upon the business' performance, and a company Christmas bonus worth £2,000 each year. This role offers a possible first year OTE of up to £42,000.
