Mortgage Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Your Mortgage Recruiter Ltd. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mortgage Brokers and ensuring the smooth progression of mortgage applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keying mortgage applications into various lenders' systems, including residential and BTL cases
  • Providing administrative support to Mortgage Brokers, including managing client service experiences and communicating with clients, lenders, and solicitors
  • Detailing conversations and actions taken in the CRM system and becoming familiar with the mortgage sourcing system
  • Gathering original documents from clients, uploading them onto the system, and ensuring compliance with required timescales
  • Scanning file documents and ensuring the final file meets compliance standards
  • Ensuring all work meets FCA compliance standards
  • Contacting existing clients to review their circumstances and products
  • Assisting the team with other duties as reasonably requested
Requirements:
  • Mortgage administration experience in the independent market, with knowledge of multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals
  • Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with diverse clients
  • Technical ability and confidence with mortgage case terminology
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Desire to progress in a professional and growing business
What We Offer:

A competitive basic salary of up to £32,000, negotiable based on skill-set and role experience. A pension scheme, plus benefits including a bonus scheme based on business performance and growth. Quarterly bonuses equating to an additional 10% to 20% of annual salary, plus a company Christmas bonus worth £2,000 each year. This leads to a possible annual OTE of up to £40,400 within this role.
