Clinical Psychologist for Complex Conditions

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients with complex conditions and provide specialist psychological care.
About the RoleThis Band 8a position requires a qualified applied psychologist with extensive experience in working with clients with challenging behaviors, mental health issues, or learning disabilities. You will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment, risk management, and therapy services to individual clients, carers, families, and groups.
You will also exercise supervisory responsibility over other psychological therapists and contribute to multi-disciplinary training, service audit, development, evaluation, and research. As a leader in our service, you will bring a psychological perspective to service redesign and cultural change.
Requirements- Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology as accredited by the BPS, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
This role offers a competitive salary of £83,156 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
