Job Title: Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Primaire Consulting Ltd. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the North East region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and increasing sales revenue.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our comprehensive range of Control & Automation Components, ensuring you have a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Sales Strategy: Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets, including developing and implementing sales plans, setting sales goals, and tracking progress.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and sales pipeline.
  • Cold Calling: Make regular cold calls to new and existing customers to identify new business opportunities and increase sales revenue.
  • Account Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and sales revenue is maximized.

Requirements:

  • Education: HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (desirable)
  • Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Personality: Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
