About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement store strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Manage store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and store standards.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Passionate about retail and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
