Job Title: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our team in a Part-time, Full-Time role. As the SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage SEN Provision: Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Ensure students with SEN achieve their full potential, monitoring and evaluating their progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide a comprehensive support system for students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): With relevant SENCO qualifications and experience as a LEAD SENCO in a primary school setting.
  • Strong Knowledge of SEN Legislation: Familiarity with SEN legislation and best practices, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
