About the Role:

As the EHCP Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the entire process of creating and maintaining Education Health Care Plans. You will work closely with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals to ensure each plan is thorough, accurate, and meets the individual needs of the child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the EHCP process from assessment to issuance
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and professionals to gather key information
  • Ensure compliance with statutory timeframes and legal obligations
  • Draft EHCPs, attend meetings (both virtually and in-person), and manage a caseload of children and young people

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of EHCP processes and SEND legislation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Experience in SEN or local authority work is an advantage
