Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EHCP Coordinator to join our team at Hatched Recruitment UK. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering statutory assessment procedures for children and young people with education, health, and care needs under the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice 2014.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer statutory assessment procedures for children and young people with education, health, and care needs.
  • Liaise closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to manage the complex process of carrying out EHC assessments.
  • Co-produce EHC Plans with families, keeping the child/young person at the centre of a person-centred approach.
  • Ensure that all practices and procedures are followed appropriately to provide an efficient and effective service.

Requirements:

  • Sound working knowledge of SEN.
  • Experience in writing plans is essential.
  • Ability to work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
