About the Role

As a Residential Care Officer in Lincolnshire County Council's Children's Services, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides care and support to children and young people in our residential homes. Your primary goal will be to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, promoting positive relationships and a sense of belonging
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive home environment, promoting social skills and life skills development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the care and well-being of our residents

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. You will need to have a caring and playful demeanor, with a passion for working with children and young people. You will also need to have basic IT skills and knowledge of the caring profession, along with a willingness to obtain a QCF qualification in working with children.
