We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced transportation professional to join our team at Westmorland and Furness Council.

The post holder will be responsible for leading the development of the Council's highways and infrastructure opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and explore new ways to improve highways, and working with regional and national partners to seize transformational opportunities for highway management and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of the Council's highways and infrastructure opportunities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and explore new ways to improve highways
  • Working with regional and national partners to seize transformational opportunities for highway management and improvement

The estimated annual salary for this role is £79,500 based on the salary range of £78,536 - £81,330 and assuming a base salary of £79,100 with 2% annual increments over the next 2 years.
