English Teacher Position

Protocol Education is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Northumberland. About the RoleThis role requires a qualified teacher with experience teaching English at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students. They will also have a thorough knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Use innovative teaching methods to engage students in reading, writing, and critical thinking
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
