Compliance Analyst Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team at Corporation Service Company. As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain, analyze, and maintain client due diligence information to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure timely updates to ViewPoint with new client details and conduct scrubs in the WorldCheck database.
  • Determine and notify the Business Team of CDD required for specific entity types and review PEP and LAC forms.
  • Communicate with the Business Team regarding outstanding CDD and ensure accurate contact details are maintained in ViewPoint.
  • Monitor and chase the Business Team for up to three months for outstanding CDD and escalate to Compliance Officer and Senior Management if necessary.
  • Provide KYC advice and guidance to the Business Team and review client files for compliance with AML requirements.
  • Account for time spent on CDD analysis and enter chargeable time for high-risk reviews and approvals.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a professional anti-money laundering qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to review documents and files for necessary data.
  • Knowledge of compliance reporting principles, corporate governance, and relevant local AML regulations.
  • Project management skills and ability to communicate clearly and objectively.
  • Ability to guide and assist junior team members with new skills and knowledge.
