Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join our team at Sandy Lane Surgery. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including consultations, home visits, and repeat prescriptions.
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
  • Develop care plans in conjunction with patients.
  • Provide counselling and health education.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with our practice's prescribing formulary.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines.
  • Commit to learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice.
