About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Chefs in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service. You will ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the company's standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Chefs in food preparation, production, and service.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to enhance menu offerings and the overall dining experience.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Fun and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
