Project Engineer Role Summary

The Project Engineer will provide project management support to plan, budget, monitor, execute, and oversee all aspects of the project to ensure that scope, schedule, cost, and project direction are maintained through the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and defining project scope
  • Activity planning, sequencing, and developing schedules
  • Project risk analysis and managing risks and issues
  • Monitoring and reporting progress of scope and budgets
  • Utilizing Zeeco Order Execution tool (ZOE) for all project tasks
  • Maintaining delivery schedule for jobs based on customer requirements and Zeeco workloads
  • Coordinating all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job
  • Maintaining change management and notifying sales and estimating departments when changes occur to the scope of supply and/or design of the equipment
  • Coordinating and updating project documentation
  • Requesting project invoices via ZOE for finance

Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • At least four years of project engineering experience
  • Understanding of fabrication (welding, ASME standards, PED, etc)
  • Ideally will have petrochemical and/or refinery experience, some combustion background, and some site experience
  • IT skills with Microsoft package competencies
  • Excellent communicator - verbal and written
  • Assertive and confident
  • Self-motivated and works well under pressure
  • Must be willing to travel worldwide
  • Must live within 1 hour travel of Zeeco Europe Head office and be able to drive
