The Document Controller/Projects Administrator will be responsible for performing a variety of support activities in relation to the execution of Projects. This is a fast paced and demanding role which requires the individual to take responsibility for the control of electronic and hard copy documents on all projects working alongside the project managers/engineers to ensure that all documentation is submitted and received in accordance with the project requirements and individual project document registers are kept up to date. The Document controller will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the Projects team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparing document front sheets for submittal
- Submittal of documentation to clients and suppliers with appropriate transmittal notes.
- Booking in returned documents
- Expediting of documents from clients and suppliers to ensure project schedules are met.
- Maintaining of project document registers.
- Acting as single point of contact with client for document control.
- Assisting with the compilation of operating and maintenance manuals.
- Contributing to project review meetings.
- Working closely with the projecting team to ensure documentation is complete and projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Providing administrative support to project managers and engineers
- Previous experience in a document control/contract administrator/quality documentation role preferred.
- Experience working within an engineering or fabrication environment preferred.
- Experience of working in an ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) environment desirable.
- Experience working in a highly regulated and audited environment preferred.
- Computer literate particularly in MS Office packages (Excel and Word) and PDF programs (Adobe, Foxit).
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills, excellent communicator verbal and written.
- Detail orientated, with good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful, highly dependable, efficient and able to organise and plan own workload
- Confident and assertive, with the ability use initiative and make decisions autonomously.
