Autopsy Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Autopsy Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Animal and Plant Health Agency. In this exciting role, you will provide critical support for the examination of large animals and poultry, including sampling and humane euthanasia. With experience in scientific environments and dissection/anatomy skills, you will also assist with tissue location/sampling and sample transfer.

About you:

  • Experience in scientific environments
  • Dissection/anatomy skills
  • Ability to use common software applications
  • BTEC HNC/BSc degree or equivalent technical qualifications in biological/biomedical/bioveterinary science

Salary: £32,220

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated agency tackling disease and ensuring animal health across the UK. You will be underpinning crucial work and contributing to the high disease containment post-mortem team.
