About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to lead our Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Service at NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Service, overseeing the delivery of patient care and ensuring compliance with NHS standards.
  • Develop and implement service delivery projects to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Physiotherapy Manager to review patient documentation, audits, and PDRs, ensuring the service is safe and effective.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient needs and managing workload effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of our physiotherapy services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • HCPC and CSP registered.
  • Experience in leadership and promoting innovation and improvement.
  • Excellent knowledge of orthopaedics and MSK physiotherapy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize independently.
  • Excellent communication, accuracy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in clinical audits and utilizing outcome tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning processes.
  • Excellent understanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Work within the governance framework of the NHS and comply with regulatory standards.
