Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist - Orthopaedic and MSK Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Berkshire Independent Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with patients with similar conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with orthopaedic and MSK conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments and provide treatment to patients with a range of conditions, including elective orthopaedics, gynaecological, and general surgery
  • Provide education and training to patients and staff on physiotherapy techniques and best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with orthopaedic and MSK patients
  • HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice
  • Acupuncture and Pilates experience desirable but not essential
  • Available for on-call, weekend duties, and altered working patterns where clinically appropriate
