About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Fundraising Manager to join our dynamic team at the Ella Dawson Foundation. As a key member of our senior team, you will play a leading role in implementing and delivering our fundraising strategy, driving sustainable financial growth and stability for our charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and monitor our fundraising strategy, working closely with the senior team to achieve our goals.
  • Undertake research to identify and prioritize relevant trusts and foundations, writing compelling grant applications and building strong relationships with these partners.
  • Work with the CEO to maintain and develop successful corporate partner engagement plans, establishing systems and procedures to provide high levels of engagement to our supporters.
  • Assist with the establishment of our CRM database, assuming responsibility for maintaining accurate data capture, regular stewardship, and communications with our supporters.
  • Deliver presentations to businesses, community partners, donors, supporters, and ambassadors, developing creative and innovative ways to engage new supporters, businesses, donors, and partners.
  • Lead and participate in our annual fundraising events, driving growth and success in our fundraising efforts.
Personal Specification

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of income generation, meeting and exceeding targets. Essential skills and knowledge include:

  • Relevant qualification - minimum Level 4 relevant qualification/experience in a relevant subject area.
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record of income generation, meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in developing new fundraising pipelines.
  • Strong written skills and the ability to develop compelling and successful grant applications.
  • Experience of working with CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated success of effective grant stewardship and corporate account management.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Passion for our cause to support young people with cancer and their families.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of the unique needs of young people in a healthcare setting (desirable).
