Fundraising Manager

We are seeking an experienced and talented Fundraising Manager to join our team at the Ella Dawson Foundation. As a key member of our senior team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and delivering our fundraising strategy, driving sustainable financial growth and stability, and helping us achieve our mission to support young adults with cancer and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and monitor our fundraising strategy, working closely with the senior team to achieve our goals.
- Undertake detailed research to identify and prioritize relevant trusts and foundations, and write compelling and successful grant applications.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with trusts and foundations, and lead on stewardship and development.
- Work with the CEO to maintain, develop, and deliver successful corporate partner engagement plans.
- Establish systems, procedures, and proactive stewardship to provide high levels of engagement to supporters of the Ella Dawson Foundation.
- Assist with the establishment of a CRM database and assume responsibility for maintaining accurate data capture, regular stewardship, and communications with our supporters.
- Deliver presentations to businesses, community partners, donors, supporters, and ambassadors.
- Develop creative and innovative ways to engage new supporters, businesses, donors, and partners.
- Lead and participate in our annual fundraising events.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:
- Relevant qualification – degree level or equivalent qualification/experience in a relevant subject area.
- Proven track record of income generation, meeting and exceeding targets.
- Experience in developing new fundraising pipelines.
- Strong written skills and the ability to develop compelling and successful grant applications.
- Experience of working with CRM systems.
- Demonstrated success of effective grant stewardship and corporate account management.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and databases.
- Passion for our cause to support young people with cancer and their families.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and relationship management skills.
- An understanding of the unique needs of young people in a healthcare setting would be desirable.
