The Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Store Assistant. As an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, working as part of a team to achieve sales and fundraising targets, and maintaining high standards of shop presentation and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
  • Maintain high standards of shop presentation, including visual merchandising and store displays.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support fundraising events and activities to achieve targets.
  • Take on keyholder responsibilities as required, with training provided.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has experience working in a busy retail environment, and is able to work independently and as part of a team. You should be able to manage your workload effectively, have excellent communication skills, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
