As a Pool Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health Accommodation Service. This service supports people aged 18+ who are experiencing mental health crises and require housing and support. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.

The service provides a range of support, including empowering clients to manage their health and wellbeing, maintaining their independence, identifying their strengths and achieving their goals and aspirations. You will work in partnership with our subcontractors as required to achieve this under the direction of the Team Leader.

You will also be responsible for clearly articulating the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce support plans. Empowering service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as social work teams, housing providers, health professionals, JCP etc. is also an important aspect of this role.

A day in this role looks like working flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met. Developing co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations is also key.

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of passion, expertise, and dedication to the table. To excel in this role, you should possess good understanding of Health and Safety within an accommodation-based setting. Basic knowledge of housing management including maintenance & repairs is also essential. Additionally, experience of working with people with mental health needs and good literacy and numeracy skills are required.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum. Work Pattern: AdHoc (Not fixed work pattern, Bank Holiday inclusive in holiday allowance).
