We are seeking a skilled Strategic Resource Coordinator to join our team at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

As a Strategic Resource Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Housing Team by scheduling resources and work to ensure surveying, repairs, and planned works are completed efficiently. You will manage and oversee diaries via the dynamic scheduling system to schedule available work for the most efficient deployment, meeting customer needs and ensuring operatives and Surveyors are continually employed.

You will proactively plan future workloads, taking account of availability in the wider context of Housing Repairs Operations and Planned Asset Maintenance Strategy functions. This requires good planning and organisational skills necessary for controlling the efficient and effective deployment and movement of the day-to-day trade workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales and knowledge of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, and Health and Safety issues relating to the post. You will also be computer literate and able to input and access information within a database and spreadsheet packages.
