**Overview**

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of new product and existing product development with our customer base and in supporting them with issue resolution. As part of the Quality Department, this role provides a key interface with Operations, Engineering and the Sales and Customer Service teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot issues with existing customers
- Work with customers on proposed material and specification changes
- Plan, execute and evaluate on site product trials. Liaise with Group R&D to deliver change projects
- Identify with customers opportunities for improvement or innovation based on their needs
- Provide insight into the voice of the customer from a technological angle
- Keep updated on emerging materials and technological trends in the addressable market, inform key internal stakeholders and make recommendations for internal change where required
- Monitor changes in legislation / political landscape for implications on materials usage, recyclability, waste, consumer buying habits and develop appropriate solutions for the business
- Monitor advances in manufacturing / materials technology which could facilitate the company’s growth
- Work in tandem with the Sales team to develop commercial proposals
- Establish fit for purpose standards through factory trials
- Escalate technological issues to either Head of Quality or Sales Director
- Working in collaboration with the broader Group, attending meetings on central discussions regarding key topics such as innovation, material changes and sustainability

**Qualifications/Experience**
- At least four years’ experience gained in a similar role
- Experience of working in an integrated manufacturing environment
- Experience of dealing face to face with customers, most of whom are significant, high-profile accounts of strategic importance
- Strong project management skills, preferably with formal project management training
- IT Literate cross the range of Microsoft products

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
